West Chester, Ohio Wedding and Reception | Gayle and Kyle

It's always interesting to see how a couple's personality gets reflected into the decor and color scheme of a wedding. When I walked into the chapel where Gayle and Kyle were getting married, I immediately felt a sense of calm.  They had chosen a lovely palette of light blue and ivory with hints of green.  Even the wood pillars that lined the aisle were glowing and peaceful, just like Gayle. ;)  (So cheesy, but true!)  And I loved how she used a lantern instead of the typical bouquet to carry.  A very unique touch!

My very favorite part of the day though, was when Kyle turned to get the ring from his best man and he was surprised with a Ring Pop! Ha! Classic. :)

Here's more about Gayle and Kyle's love story as told by Gayle.

Kyle and I met at Middletown Christian High school on the track and field team. We were racing each other to see who was the faster runner in the 100 meters and I happen to win :) After that track practice, we started to hang out more and began dating for 7 years.

The proposal happened in the fall in Sharon woods where the water fall is located. That place was always peaceful and not a whole lot of people come walking down there. Kyle was able to disguise the proposal as a family photo session and caught me off guard.

Kyle and I love to go running, walking in the park, and just be around each other.
What was the vision for your wedding, the style/color/scheme?

The vision of the wedding was to be rustic and relaxed. We picked the color blue with a hint of gray to it, but it was a little difficult finding the color to match our vision.
